It is far easier for a pick pocket or other criminal to snatch money out of your back pocket without you even realizing it. Having your money in the front gives you more control, especially if you walk with your hands in your pockets.
When considering traveling, it is important to think of the best mode of travel. Traveling by car can offer many more sights and opportunities for side trips. Traveling by train can offer a chance to relax and get some work done if they wanted. Planes can cover ground fast but don’t allow much movement and one cannot get off the plane in flight. If you or a travel companion is seriously allergic or sensitive to cigarette smoke, don’t just ask for a non-smoking room. Requesting that your room be located on a non-smoking floor ensures that your neighbors will not be smoking in their rooms when the doors are opened, and that smoke will not carry between windows of rooms on the same floor.
Drink plenty of water. Many doctors say that the primary reason people get sick on long flights is dehydration. Cabin air is very dry and in an enclosed space, germs travel much easier. Protect yourself by staying hydrated by drinking lots of water and juice and you may stave off the cold that the woman, three rows back is sporting.
